Luminar Supports Aaron’s Wish Charity Dinner

Michael Iori is the National Consultant for Operations at Interfresh Australia, a packaging supplier for major fast food retail businesses and franchises including Boost Juice, 7 Eleven, Coles Express, CIBO and Salsa’s.

Luminar is Michael’s go-to supplier for every brand label that he takes care of. Michael says that Luminar Label’s quick turnaround is a big plus, but it’s not the only reason that Intefresh Australia has kept the company on its books for so many years.

“It’s the personal approach,” explained Michael. “They’re a great team to work with. I drop by their Castle Hill office about once a week to pick up samples or chat to the owner, Mike Ellis.”

Outside of his busy operations role Michael, along with his wife Kim, runs an annual charity dinner called Aaron’s Wish. The couple established Aaron’s Wish in 2013 in memory of their son Aaron who died from brain cancer earlier that year.

“The goal of our event is to raise awareness of brain cancer and raise much needed funds for brain cancer research,” said Michael. “It’s a great night out; we put on an incredible meal with drinks and live entertainment.”

Aaron’s Wish Charity Dinner is registered with and supported by the Cancer Council. Since 2013, the annual charity dinners have raised more than $150K for brain cancer research. However, they can’t do it alone. Michael and Kim rely on the generosity of companies like Luminar to make their events successful.

“The team at Luminar has been very supportive of our annual charity dinner,” said Michael. “They’ve helped by printing cards and other materials for our sample gift bags that we give to guests. Mike Ellis and his wife are also coming to the event to show their support.”
